In the market for a new PS4? Well PlayStation’s second State of Play livestream broadcast yesterday might have offered the solution in the form of a new limited edition “Days of Play” PS4 Slim, which acts as a successor to last year’s Blue and Gold console. This 2019 iteration instead boasts a Steel Grey chassis and will arrive on store shelves as early as this June.

Little is known about what the availability of the Steel Grey Days of Play PS4 Slim will be at this present time, but if the scarcity of last year’s version is anything to go by, you might want to get your pre-order in pretty quickly. The console itself is a standard PS4 Slim rather than a Pro, yet differs from most Slims in that it comes with a generous 1TB storage capacity as opposed to the traditional 500GB. A matching Steel Grey Dualshock 4 controller will also be included in the box.

In addition to this new console design, State of Play was stacked with exciting reveals relating to what you’ll soon be able to play on PS4 – possibly making up for PlayStation being a no-show at this year’s E3 conference. There was the re-reveal of Final Fantasy VII Remake, a look at Monster Hunter World’s new Iceborne expansion and the announcement of a multiplayer Predator game subtitled, Hunter Grounds. For us, though, this limited edition Days of Play PS4 Slim took the cake.

There’s no means in which to buy or pre-order Sony’s new console just yet, but you can be sure that Consoles.com will notify you as soon as its possible. Until then, we can only marvel at the Steel Grey design’s pure beauty. Will you be adding one to your game collection?
