With a Nintendo Switch, you can game whenever, wherever

When at home, you slot the Nintendo Switch into a static dock for home console gaming, and when you want to play on-the-go, just remove from the dock and attach the physical controllers. Play online or play local multiplayer and split screen. It’s a games console for every type of gamer. You can even play in table-top mode using the in-built kickstand at the back of the console.

    Third party support

Play triple-A game titles on the Nintendo Switch

One area that Nintendo has struggled previously is getting the support from third party developers for their devices. While there was always the Nintendo mainstay games such as Mario, Legend of Zelda and Pokemon, gamers had to go to use other games consoles for their tripl- A fix. Not anymore. Nintendo has announced a sample of the developers it will be working with, including EA, Bethesda and Ubisoft. The Switch has already had major third party games, including Skyrim, Doom, Assassin’s Creed, and we can expect to see many more!

    Exclusive games

Nintendo have always been famed for their huge range of beloved exclusive franchises, and the Switch is no exception. Even by Nintendo’s standards, the Switch has been hugely successful in terms of exclusive titles. 2020’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons has become one of the biggest selling games in history. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was received as one of the greatest games of all time. Super Mario Odyssey saw the Italian plumber return to his 3D roots in a series of exciting new worlds. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was hailed as one of the best in the legendary series. There’s also been other critically acclaimed titles, including Let’s Go Pokemon, Splatoon 2, Mario Tennis Aces and Super Mario Party.

    Local Multiplayer Games

    Multiplayer mayhem

Whether it’s taking on a team of strangers in Rocket League or facing off against friends sat right next to you on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the Nintendo Switch is perfect for multiplayer. The innovative design choices behind the Joy-Con controllers means that every Switch console effectively comes bundled with two separate controllers, and with the Nintendo Switch playable in kickstand mode, it can offer up to four players a chance to compete locally with minimum fuss! Of course, there’s also the option to play against others from across the world online.

Why trust Consoles.com to find you your Nintendo Switch deal?

The team behind Consoles.com have more than a decade of collective experience in finding the best gaming deals out there. With our sister site Console Deals, we have helped hundreds of thousands of users get a great price on consoles, games and accessories, and we’ve developed a knack for knowing a great deal when we see one.

Behind the scenes, the site is powered by a completely bespoke system that we built in house, which enables us to pick up on new deals and price changes long before traditional deal sites do. We even sometimes find new bundles that the retailer didn’t realise they’d put live themselves!

Finding the right Nintendo Switch bundle for you

Lite, classic, or extended battery Switch model?

There are now three main models of Nintendo Switch – the original, the extended battery version, or the Lite. Which you pick depends on your preference. The original model is still available and is sometimes found at a discounted price. The extended battery version is identical to the original except that – you guessed it – it has an extended battery. This more hard to find for a deal, it’s typically stuck to its RRP, though you can still get a great deal with a bundle. The Lite is the cheapest model, and is perfect for those looking for a handheld, though it can’t be ‘Switched’ to attach to a TV in any way.

Console on its own or part of a bundle?

Consoles.com is one of the only sites capable of comparing not just all models of Switch console, but those same consoles when they’ve been bundled with extra products such as games and accessories like controllers or Nintendo Online subscriptions. Using the filters in the table above, you’re able to select everything you need to find your perfect bundle, saving you time, hassle and extra delivery fees in the process!
