Featuring Anthony Davis from the LA Lakers as its respective cover star, NBA 2K20 successfully advanced basketball simulation back in 2019 by featuring a revised career mode starring Hollywood’s Idris Elba and making incremental tweaks to jump mechanics and ball physics. The result was the most immersive NBA game ever, where every major US team’s roster was overhauled and updated in line with the latest season.

NBA 2K20 built upon the success of the previous entry which celebrated 20 years of the brand, introducing several next-level features like a new dribble size-up system and a new read and react defensive game. All these mechanical tweaks elevate the basketball game higher than ever before, letting players take their skills to the next level with the most realistic player controller ever. NBA 2K20 touts an all-new upgraded motion engine.

Each of the WNBA teams appear for the very first time in NBA 2K20, letting you play as over 140 female players in both the Play Now and Season modes. Touting unique gameplay animations and visuals built exclusively for the women’s game, this feature alone gives NBA 2K20 a more inclusive edge that sees it usurp prior entries. And they combine with legendary teams to help fill out what is the most extensive roster in a basketball game ever.
